Located in the historic Dar El Basha district, NoBorder Gallery presents a landmark cultural event: Banksy Universe Marrakech. This permanent exhibition — the first of its kind in Morocco — is conceived as an unofficial tribute to the most enigmatic figure in global street art.

In a city where ancestral heritage meets contemporary vibrancy, Marrakech provides a compelling backdrop for Banksy’s subversive and poetic messages, creating a striking dialogue between Western urban art and Moroccan culture.

Spanning nearly 300 square metres, the exhibition unfolds over a 40-minute visit through dozens of works drawn from private collections. Designed as a chronological journey, the experience combines hand-painted mural reproductions created in situ, interactive installations, and video sequences. The aim is to move beyond the traditional museum framework, allowing visitors to feel the immediacy and power of Banksy’s work. Each space invites reflection — challenging our relationship to politics, society, and freedom in a deeply immersive setting.

Banksy Universe is more than an exhibition; it is a reflection on the dissolution of boundaries — a core value of NoBorder Gallery. As the gallery’s founders express it: “This space was created to open doors wide to dreams and stories in motion.” Within this context, Banksy’s art acts as a mirror held up to systems of power. In Morocco — a land rich in symbolism and spirituality — these images take on particular resonance, transforming silence into a powerful universal message.

After the exhibition, the experience continues on the gallery’s rooftop terrace. The RumiSpirit Café, an open-air haven overlooking Marrakech, welcomes visitors for a moment of pause and conversation. An exclusive boutique also offers curated objects, editions, and souvenirs inspired by Banksy’s universe. It is the perfect setting to reflect on the artistic journey before stepping back into the vibrant energy of the medina.

Banksy Universe Marrakech is a permanent immersive exhibition paying tribute to the world of Banksy, bringing together artworks, large-scale mural reproductions and installations, extended by The Banksy Rooftop — a contemplative space to continue the experience over coffee or tea.
